Child Prodigy - Aelita Andre

It's one thing to develop a skill over time and another thing to be born with it. I have always found child prodigies to be extremely fascinating.

There are many child art prodigies out in the world today, but one of the children that I have heard of the most would be Aelita Andre, age 6.

Andre is a young, Australian artist, and by the age of four, she was able to show her work at a solo exhibition in New York City, NY, in 2011. She held a second solo exhibition in New York in 2012 as well.

Documentaries show how she has developed her own techniques when it comes to creating her abstract expressionism paintings.

One of my favorite things about Andre is being able to see the passion she has for painting as I watch her work in documentaries. You can tell she's more than just your average kid because she doesn't even stop to think about what she wants to do next, she just does it!

They are planning on making a movie about her as well. In the trailer, she describes making art work in one simple sentence: "It's almost like your breath has gone out of your mouth."
